Most of the time, computers can save multiple copies of printouts if you want to reuse them. You can choose how many documents to save, whether they should be deleted after a specific time and the quality at which they are printed – among other things – by setting up print savers in Windows.

A Print Savers otherwise called a Network Printer is a printer that can be used by many different computers on a home or office network. If you have a Wi-Fi or traditional (wired) network printer, you can directly connect it to the network so other users can add it through their settings. But if the printer isn’t network-enabled, you can add it as a local printer and share it on your network.
To add a printer from the print server to your computer, you need to create a printer port. Before you create the print server port, make sure that the network configuration is complete for your print server. Read How to Set up Windows Print Server

Step 3: Click Devices
Step 4: Click Printers & Scanners.
Step 5: Click Add a printer.
Step 6: Select Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings and click Next.
Step 7: Select Create a new port.

The IP address will be in the format of: 128.223.xxx.xxx and is usually written or on a sticker attached to the printer itself. If it is not, you may need to print a “Printer Configuration Page” to get that information.
Step 10: Be sure the box is checked in front of the QUERY THE PRINTER AND AUTOMATICALLY SELECT THE DRIVER TO USE, then select NEXT.
Step 11: If the printer installs you just need to select FINISH.
Step 12: If prompted, select a driver from the list or obtain a driver from the manufacturer of the printer, and click Next.
Step 13: Click Next until you you are asked if you want to print a test page. To confirm that the printer was successfully added, you should send a test page to your printer.
After the printer port is created, you can send print jobs to it. If you find this content helpful, do well to share it with friends.
