Discord is a very popular, cross-platform communication tool, in part because it’s free to use, and just about anyone can create a server. A lot of it is text-based chat, but it’s also got a pretty solid voice chat feature as well.
To start using the app, download Discord from the Play Store if you’re on an Android device or App Store if you’re using iOS!

How to set up a voice channel
By default, any new Discord server will have one voice channel already created. Joining it to chat is as simple as just clicking on it, and you’ll be automatically connected. When you’re in a voice chat, you’ll be presented with related controls, including a mute button and a button to end the call.
Steps to Create a Server on Discord
On the homepage, click on the plus (+) icon on the left side.
Then input the name of your desire and click “Create Server.”
After creating the server, you can now proceed and create the voice channel.
If you want to create a new channel simply:
Step 1: Go to your server. Just on the homepage.
Step 2: Next to voice channels in the sidebar, click the + button (as seen above).
Step 3: Select “Voice Channel”; Name the channel, and click “Create.”
When you are done, the Voice Channel will be found on the homepage. You have just created a Voice Channel on Discord. Tang!
