How to Disable Windows 11 Quick Settings via Registry Editor

The Quick Settings is a Windows 11 feature that you can use to conveniently access Bluetooth, Battery saver, Airplane mode, Accessibility, WiFi, etc.

But if you don’t use this feature, you may find it disturbing and would rather disable it. This guide shows you how to do so via the registry editor.

First, you need to open registry editor by pressing Windows Key + R. Next, enter “regedit” into the run prompt and hit the Enter key.

Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>>SOFTWARE>>Policies>>Microsoft>>Windows

Next, right-click on the Windows folder and select New>Key. Name the newly created folder as “Explorer”.

Next, right-click on Explorer and select New>>DWORD(32-bit) value. Name the newly created registry “DisableControlCenter”.

Next, double-click on DisableControlCenter, set its value data to 1 and click Ok.

To effect the change, you need to restart your computer. If you change your mind and would love to enable the Quick Settings option, you can change its value data to 0.
