To get started, open the “Settings” app and scroll down to “Battery”.

Here, you will see the “Battery health” option. Select it.

Here, you can see your battery health in percentage value. You can also toggle on the “Optimized Battery Charging” option to help preserve your battery life.

The higher the battery capacity, the better.

Ways to preserve your iPhone battery capacity

Once your battery health begins to decline, it affects its performance, and replacement can be costly. This is why you need to take precautions to slow down the degradation process.

Keep Software and Apps Up-to-date: Newer software and app releases often comes with battery optimization features which can be helpful to preserve your battery health. Therefore, you may want to keep your software and applications up to date.
