Recently, I forgot the password I used for an old Instagram account and I don’t want to request for a new password, I quickly remember that I have once logged in the details of the account on my chrome browser. Behold, when I do my search, I was able to see the password. How is that possible, you asked?

Google Chrome browser has a built-in password manager you can use to view all the passwords you store through the browser. It saves you from losing your password and username name if you misplaced your device or it got damaged.

As soon as you logged into a site on the Chrome browser, you will receive a notification on whether to save the password or not. Step 1: Unlock your Android phone, and go to open Chrome browser

Step 2: Click on three dots on the right hand side of the Chrome browser.

Step 3: Now scroll down and click “Settings”

Step 4: After that, click “Passwords”

Step 6: You will see various saved usernames and passwords. Click on the username you to view

Step 7: Once you’ve clicked on the username, you will see the username and passwords. Click on the “eye” icon to view the password.

You can see how easy it is. As you can observe, you can edit the password and username, then click “Done.” Be wary of handling your device with untrusted people as they can easily go through the same process to attack you.
