Steps to changing your Gmail password
These steps apply to both Gmail for the web and the Gmail app for mobile
Step 1. Go to Gmail: Go to Gmail from the web, or open the app on your mobile device
Step 2. Tap on your profile picture
Step 3. Click on “Manage your Google Account.”



Step 4. Go to “Security”: By switching the tab to the right, go to the security tab.



Step 5. Scroll down to “Signing in to Google”: Scroll down to ” signing in to Google” and click on “Password”.



You will be asked to sign in again to confirm it’s you.



Input your password to verify your identity. Then click next.
Step 6. Input new password: From here, you can input your new password.



Once done, click on the “change password” button.
