Telsa mobile application has been reported to be back online after an app server outage earlier prevented many owners from connecting to their cars during the weekend. The cause of the outage was said to be perhaps due to increased verbosity of network traffic.
Tesla chief Elon Musk made this known while responding to a tweet on Telsa’s Twitter account. He said that the company’s app experienced a “500 server error” to connect his Model 3 through the iOS app in Seoul, South Korea.
Telsa has is up and running again after the weekend’s server outage.
The CEO said that it looks like the app may have accidentally increased verbosity of network traffic, however, the app is back and functioning.
About 500 users reported they faced an error while accessing the app according to an outage monitoring website.
The CEO tendered his unreserved apologies saying that; “Apologies, we will take measures to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
